There are many worthwhile causes and many needs in our community, state, nation and world. How do we choose? How do we choose Kingdom causes? Is God glorified? Is Jesus preached? Are needs met?

When I acknowledge God in the everyday epiphanies and the awe-inspiring moments, I am reminded over and over again, that He is Creator, Sustainer, my Hope and my Life. And that leads me to the response of the Psalmist, “From everlasting to everlasting, you are God!”
every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17-18). Especially, the gift of His Son (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 9:15). Lord, give us the wisdom to be thankful to YOU.
the American psyche which has moved away from a gratitude towards God. Somehow, the celebration of a day that culminates in parades, football, and gluttony seems less important that the original intent of a Thanksgiving Day. A turkey has become all but synonymous with the holiday.
to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a Day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens
be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be—That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks
